This entryway was removed many years ago from a German farmhouse in FREDERICK, MARYLAND built about 1839.The entryway has been in dry storage and fully protected as shown in photos. The rough opening measures 74" wide x 9' high and 12" deep. The step stone is 74" wide x 12" deep x 7&1/2" high. The entry feature was removed by our professionals with 25 years of expertise in handling this kind of item. The entry is complete and includes the original limestone step stone. The stone is over 600 pounds and shows the hand work and walk worn surface. The pictures show the overall and close up of the hand made trim original to the piece. The door, side lights, panels and transom above the door have been stripped to the original old pine wood. We have been handling items like this for thirty years and always have one of a kind items like this unique piece.
