18th Century Door Table
This
unique design is an authentic hand built six panel door from a Killingworth,
Connecticut farmhouse built in 1740 - 1760. The top surface is 1/4”
tempered plate glass and the base has antique cherry legs with hand beaded
aprons of extinct chestnut. The leg to apron detail is hand fit mortise and
tenon joinery.
Other door tables are available from my collection of Connecticut doors. The
sizes of tables are determined by the size of the actual door.
Do you have a special door?
We will glad to build a table from your favorite, just send us the measurements
