18th CENTURY DOOR TABLE

This unique design is an authentic hand built two panel door from a Northford, Connecticut farmhouse built about 1730.
The top surface is 1/4” tempered plate glass and a base base built from extinct chestnut with hand beaded aprons. The leg to apron detail is hand fit mortise and tenon joinery.
Other door tables are available from my collection of historic Connecticut doors. The sizes of tables are determined by the size of the actual door.
