Hand Hewn in Eastern White Pine

We are proud to have available the finest antique hand hewn barn frames in North America.

Each frame is chosen for it’s quality and represents the finest color, form and displays the hand work of the barn builder of centuries past.

Hand hewn and adzed beam surfaces, original scribed lay out lines, mortise and tenon joinery built by hand with ancient tools and original surfaces in an aged honey brown color are our strict standards we search for in every frame.

Once transported to our Connecticut facility they are washed, dried and carefully inventoried. Once inside the recorded inventory of the original barn is sent to the design department to determine the best use for each frame.

Once a design is agreed to our model department builds a 1/12th scale model to see the barn frame as a working model.

At that time revisions are made such as loft decks, room dividers, window and door locations, and finally fireplace location.
